Spring & Summer Wellness Group Continues to Bloom at Annie's Outreach Center

The Spring & Summer Wellness Group at Annie's Outreach Center has been thriving, and so has our community garden! Every Monday at 10:00 a.m., peers come together to enjoy the outdoors, build meaningful connections, and experience the many benefits of working alongside one another.

Over the past several weeks, participants have transformed the garden into a beautiful and productive space. From planting flowers and vegetables to weeding, watering, and maintaining the garden beds, everyone has taken pride in watching their hard work come to life. The garden has become a peaceful place where peers can relax, learn new skills, and celebrate the progress they've made together.

The Wellness Group has also explored the connection between nature and mental wellness. Spending time outdoors, staying active, and working toward a common goal has helped participants reduce stress, improve their mood, and strengthen friendships. Whether tending to the garden or simply enjoying a conversation in the sunshine, each Monday provides opportunities for growth, encouragement, and connection.

The garden has become one of Annie's Outreach Center's most beautiful features, serving as a reminder that recovery, much like gardening, takes patience, care, and support. Watching the plants flourish has mirrored the personal growth and resilience of many of our peers.

We invite everyone to stop by Annie's Outreach Center to see how beautiful the garden has become and learn more about our Spring & Summer Wellness Group. Whether you have a green thumb or simply enjoy spending time with others, we'd love to welcome you.

Join us every Monday at 10:00 a.m. at Annie's Outreach Center and see how our garden—and our community—continues to grow!
