Marion Community Leaders Visit Safe Harbor
Safe Harbor Peer Support Services was pleased to recently welcome several Marion community leaders to our Marion Outreach Center, including Marion County Commissioners Dr. Davis and Kevin Davidson, as well as Marion Mayor Bill Collins.
During their visits, our guests had the opportunity to tour the Outreach Center, learn more about Safe Harbor's mission, and hear about the peer support services, recovery-focused programming, groups, activities, and resources we are bringing to the Marion community.
These visits also provided an opportunity to share our vision for the Marion Outreach Center and discuss how Safe Harbor can work alongside other community organizations and leaders to help meet the needs of individuals navigating mental health and substance use challenges.
As we continue to grow our presence in Marion County, building strong relationships with local leaders, agencies, businesses, and community partners is an important part of our work. Collaboration helps us connect individuals with resources, identify opportunities, and strengthen the network of support available throughout the community.
We sincerely appreciate Commissioners Davis and Davidson and Mayor Collins for taking the time to visit, ask questions, and learn more about Safe Harbor and the people we serve.
We are excited about the future of our Marion Outreach Center and look forward to continuing to build partnerships throughout Marion County as we work together to bring help, hope, connection, and recovery to our community.
Where there is HELP, there is HOPE.
